DeviantPAIN, A Very Honest Journal

Hello there, it's been a while. I decided to come here at 3 am to check on things and may or may not complain about DA.

I have been busy as I recently started law university as well as dealing with personal issues and my mental health, which has been hanging by a thread so that's a woohoo! But I am managing, to say the least. I don't know if this journal will catch anyone's eyes but if it does, how are you? come say hi in the comments, be as honest as you want. : )


I don't know who uses this site anymore. If you do, that's great, but I still don't get this bullshit 'till this day. I don't know how anything works at all? It's so complicated and irritating. Posting this journal was a pain, posting art is a pain, opening DA in general is a pain — It lost its spark and legitimately doesn't mean anything to me like it did 2-3 years ago. Which sucks, Old DA was very nostalgic to all of us. Now it's gone, along with a bunch of incredible active members of the community. I remember back then, I was excited about gaining 1K Watchers, hosting a raffle; it was all fun but it's ironic I don't have that amount anymore, lmao. Even before that, it was thrilling to get engagement. Whenever anyone commented on your Status, Journal, Poll, Art — it was heartwarming. I felt famous with my 20-something-active-watchers/friends. I don't think DA will do as good as it did before because of Eclipse. But hey, I've learned to let it go. I don't care what else DA has to offer.

I personally am not leaving permanently as I come here to look at explore page and check on notifications every several weeks but, nothing more than that. I don't know what else to do here

There is not much to say besides letting you know that I have Discord and Instagram, if you wish to keep in contact with me or get to know me, then it's very possible. Just ask for it. I'm nice 🌸

~Meet the Artist~
So this month is for Shadow-Nights !
A 17 year old Estonian artist who's been here on this site for 4 years now.
I feel like she deserves more love and support because she produces insanely beautiful and gorgeous artworks every now and then. Her style is really aesthetically pleasing and her gallery is entertaining to look at because of something a little different here and there.
    She's also kind and simple towards people so I think you will like her as a person too ^^
